Creating a uncluttered, minimal look sounds easy enough. Use calming, neutral tones, don’t use lots of mismatching patterns.. etc etc. Light is another important aspect that might get overlooked. Although blinds are practical, that doesn’t mean they need to be ugly or utilitarian. By using blinds as part of a window treatment, light can be allowed in, whilst still having privacy. READ MORE

It’s that time of year again when I’m desperately trying to spend as much time in the garden as possible to get it ready in time for summer. The recent wet weather means everything is shooting up in the garden and I’m pleased to see some success from bulbs we planted last year. We have lived in our home for just over two years now and we’ve put a lot of time into the garden, as it was an absolute state when we moved in. We created a terrace area, a path leading to the top of the garden, created the borders from nothing and basically laid a new lawn entirely.  READ MORE
